With this gift, you will help provide 10 bars of soap along with education in hygiene, helping people to stay clean during emergency situations and prevent the spread of diseases like cholera and typhoid.
Since mid-2011, Oxfam has been helping people caught up in the Horn of Africa food crisis. Affected by drought and local conflict, hundreds of thousands of people in Somalia, Ethiopa and Kenya were displaced and pushed into crowded camps. Oxfam has reached over three million people across the region so far with life-saving food, water and sanitation. In the longer term, Oxfam is committed to the Horn of Africa, providing lasting solutions to create more stability and resilience for affected families.
