Rest assured this one will go down a treat as it is in fact protecting remote communities in Vanuatu and Papua New Guinea from life-threatening water-borne diseases. Cheers!
This gift will provide 50 people people with safe drinking water. Dirty water and poor sanitation puts children's lives at risk. But often the solution to providing safe drinking water is not complicated - the engineering requires a little know-how, a few materials and a bit of hard work.We can get safe water flowing to those who need it most.
Access to clean water is vital after an emergency. Like when drought and food shortages swept through the Horn of Africa, we worked with communities, governments, and local organisations to reach more than three million people in Somalia, Kenya and Ethiopia with safe water and sanitation. We have been able to provide both emergency life-saving humanitarian aid and long-term solutions to help communities rebuild their lives.
